The expressway network penetrating the inland free economic zone with the international airport at its heart, encompasses the Gyeongbu Expressway and the Jungbu Expressway as well as National Highways 36 and 17.
The expressways connect centers of activity within the FEZ at the Cheongju IC on the Gyeongbu Expressway, and the Seocheongju IC, the Ochang IC and the Jeungpeyong IC on the Jungbu Expressway.
National highways include Route 36 connecting Osong, Cheongju and Jeungpyeong Solar Power Complex, and Route 17 connecting Cheongju and the MRO Complex.
Cheongju Technopolis sits alongside the Second Cheongju Beltway, which connects National Highways 36 and 17. The municipal highways include Route 508, connecting the Osong Complex and the Ochang Complex, as well as Route 510, connecting the Ochang Complex and Jeungpyeong Solar Power Complex.
Railroad
The railroad network connecting the international airport to each center of activity within the CBFEZ include the Gyeongbu HSR and the Honam HSR as well as the Chungbuk Line, a national railway line.
Located with the Osong Complex is Osong Station, where the Honam HSR branches out of the Gyeongbu HSR, while sitting adjacent to the centers of activity are Osong Station, Cheongju Station, Ogeunjang Station, Naesu Station and Jeungpyeong Station on the Chungbuk Line.
Airport
Located within the CBFEZ is Cheongju International Airport, the only international airport in the Jungbu region.
